Relationships deepen, and learning sticks because emotion anchors memory.
Joy is not extra. It is cognitive fuel. It is neurological glue. It is the gateway to intrinsic motivation. And it all begins with play.
I believe we can come "Full Circle" by respecting the past, embracing the present, and preparing for the future. We need to rethink education, to provide opportunities for youth to maintain human connection in this digital world. For learners ~ especially in environments built through experiential, project and play-based ecosystems ~ joy is the bridge between competence and confidence.
